A Little About the Rays

The 2008 season was the best it could possibly be for the Tampa Bay Rays, going from last place in the AL East in 2007, to winning not only the division, but also the AL Championship in 2008.  Even with the success in 2008, the team is still making some adjustments in the offseason.  The Rays picked up Morgan Ensberg, Gabe Kapler, Adam Kennedy, and Pat Burell from the Phillies in place of Eric Hinske, Cliff Floyd, Johnny Gomes, and Rocco Baldelli.  These changes could possibly take the Rays even farther in 2009 so make sure you get your tickets to Tropicana Field and watch as the Rays dominate in 2009!
