A Little About the Sharks

The 2008-09 season went pretty well for the San Jose Sharks.  During the season they won the Presidents' Trophy for best regular season record but were unfortunately knocked out of the first round of the playoffs by the Anaheim Ducks.  To improve their chances in the 2009-10 season, GM Doug Wilson traded Christian Ehrhoff and Brad Lukowich to the Canucks for Patrcik White and Daniel Rahimi.  Milan Michalek, Jonathan Cheechoo, and a 2nd round 2010 draft pick were traded to the Senators for Dany Heatley and a 5th round 2010 draft pick.  With these changes be enough to take the Sharks further into the playoffs?  Get your tickets to the HP Pavilion and find out!

First established in 1991, the Sharks have been consistent in making the tournament 8 times since 1994.  Though they are a strong contender in the playoffs, the San Jose Sharks are still waiting for their first win of the Stanley Cup.
