Starting play in 1967 as an expansion team, the Pittsburgh Penguins didn't do so well in their first years of playing.  They currently hold of the record of 7 consecutive losing seasons from 1967-68 to 1973-74.  But as soon as Marc Boileau became the head coach, things began to turn around up until the 1979-80 season where the Penguins 8 losing records between then and the 1986-87 season.
