A Little About the Coyotes
The 2008-09 season could've gone better for the Phoenix Coyotes, ending in 4th place in the Pacific Division and missing the playoffs. With their newfound bankruptcy, the team is already looking at trouble in the 2009-10 season but players are determined to still player their best. There were also some big changes during offseason. The team brought on Sami Lepisto, Adrian Aucoin, Taylor Pyatt, Jim Vandermeer, Brandon Prust, , Lauri Korpikoski, Radim Vrbata, Sefan Meyer, and Vernon Fiddler to replace Dmitri Kalinin, Joakim Lindstrom, Ken Klee, David Hale, Brandon Prust, Garth Murray, Enver Lisin, Brian McGrattan, Steve Reinprecht, and Todd Fedoruk, Steve Goertzen, and Steve Reinprecht. Plus, head coach Wayne Gretzky stepped down and was replaced by new head coach Dave Tippett. There's a lot of speculation on whether the Coyotes are going to do well so get your tickets to the Jobing.com Arena and catch the action as the Coyotes bounce back in the 2009-10 season!
