A Little About the Mets

Though not fantastic, the Mets' 2nd place finish in the NL Central in 2008 was not anything to sneeze at, but unfortunately it was not enough to get the Mets into the playoffs.  Realizing that something needed to be done to make it to the playoffs in 2009, the Mets made some drastic changes to the lineup.  By dropping  7 members of the team, some of which included Aaron Heilman, Joe Smith, and Scott Schoeneweis, and adding the record-holder for single-season saves Francisco Rodriguez, All-Star closer J.J.
