Having been started in 1916, the Montreal Canadiens have acquired 76 playoff appearances and 24 Stanley Cup wins. Since 1993 however, they have acquired none. Through the years, star players like Patrick Roy and Guy Lafleur have played for the team along with the coaching of Toe Blake. Since moving to the newly opened Bell Centre, the "Habs" have been having a harder time, but still get the support of about 850,000 fans a year.
