MLB Allstar Game

The Major League Baseball All-Star Game, "Midsummner Classic", is an annual game between players from the American League and National League.  The players are selected by a combination of fans, players, coaches and managers.  The All-Star Game is usually played in early to mid-July and marks the symbolic halfway point in the Major League Baseball (though not the mathematical halfway point; in most seasons, that actually takes place one week earlier). The game is usually played on a Tuesday and there are o regular-season games played on the day before or the day after the game date. These are the only two calendar days of the year in which no regular-season or preseason games in any of the major sports league are scheduled.
