A Little About the Jaguars

When the Jaguars were started in 1995 as an expansion team, they had their ups and downs, but their worst down was their horrible defense.  It caused the team to lose many games, but one thing they could be proud of was their offense.  Quarterback Mike Brunell led the team with their extraordinary rating as an expansion-team quarterback and also became the first AFC quarterback to run more than 400 yards in one season.  Even though the defense was bad, the offense managed to rank 3rd of all-time of first-year franchises.  Now in the present, the Jaguars are still having a rough time, ending in last place in the AFC South.  To try and improve their chances, head coach Jack Del Rio raised the bar and led a much tougher training camp this year compared to other years.  Running back Fred Taylor was also let go and Maurice Jones-Drew can now start.  Will the difference in discipline be the ingredient to a winning season?  Find out by getting your tickets to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium and cheering the Jaguars to a winning 2009-10 season!
