A Little About the Panthers

The Florida Panthers didn't do that bad in the 2008-09 season, ending in 3rd place in the Southeast Division and also improving their record from 38-35-9 to 41-30-11.  Though the team lost defensemen Jay Bouwmeester, they added on Ville Koistinen, Jordon Leopold, and Dennis Seidenburg to try and keep the defense strong.  With the strong offense off David Booth, Nathan Horton, and Stephen Weiss, plus the coaching of Peter DeBoer, the Panthers are headed for a great 2009-10 season so get your tickets to the Bank Atlantic Center now!

When the Florida Panther first began play in the 1993-94 season, they scored a total of 83 points, the most an expansion team has ever gotten.  They then went on to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals just 3 years later in 1996.
