Repeating the performances of the past 2 seasons, the Dallas Stars ended the 2008-09 season in 3rd place in the Pacific Division.  But with new GM and former player Joe Nieuwendyk and new head coach Marc Crawford, the team seems to be looking bright for the new season.  With newly acquired players Mark Parrish, Brendan Morrison, Karlis Skrestins, Sergei Zubov, and Alex Auld, the team has a good shot at winning.  However with injuries to players like Brad Richards, Steve Ott, Zubov, and Brenden Morrow, the team is depending on their healthier players to step it up.  Can the Stars go all the way in the 2009-10 season?  Get your tickets to the American Airlines Center and find out!

Originally the Minnesota North Stars, then becoming the Dallas Stars in 1993, the Stars have made it to the NHL Playoffs 26 times total in their career as a franchise.  Of all the times making it, the team has only acquired the Stanley Cup once in 1998-99.
