A Little About the Rockies

The start of the 2008 season looked bright as the Colorado Rockies made it to the series the season before, but unfortunately a mediocre performance left them right in the middle of the NL West.  Changes were needed if the team was going to do better in 2009.  The team traded Matt Holliday to the Oakland Athletics for Greg Smith, Carlos Gonzalez and Huston street and alsto got rid of bench coach Jamie Quirk, third base coach Mike Gallego, and hitting coach Alan Cockrell.  Hopefully these changes will be enough to bounce the Rockies back to the playoffs but the only way to find out is to get down to Coors Field to see the action unfold!
