A Little About the White Sox
The 2008 season went well for the Chicago White Sox, winning the AL Central Division, making it to the playoffs, but unfortunately being beaten in the first round by the Tampa Bay Rays.  The White Sox's strong line up should take them far in the 2009 season, and with a little more effort from some individual players like Bobby Jenks and Alexei Ramirez, they are sure to go farther in this year's playoffs.  All that remains now is for fans to make sure that they're at the U.S. Cellular Field to cheer on the team so get your tickets now and lead the Chicago White Sox to victory!

Some Background About the Chicago White Sox

Charles Comiskey was the man who started it all.  In 1900 he started the team known as the Chicago White Stocking who eventually grew to the Chicago White Sox known today.  Right from the get go, the White sox proved to be a worthy adversary to any baseball team by taking the 1906 and 1917 World Series titles.  But after the 1919 "Black Sox" scandal involving 8 of the White Sox players being banned from the game for conspiring the throw the Series, everyone forgot about the 2 previous victories.
