A Little About the Bruins

Winning the Northeast Division and getting the best record in the Eastern Conference easily shows that the Bruins had an awesome 2008-09 season.  Unfortunately, they were beaten by the Hurricanes, losing them the championship opportunity.  In an attempt to get closer to winning the Cup in the new season, the team picked up Derek Morris to add on to the already powerful lineup of Mark Stuart, Matt Hunwick, Zdeno Chara, Dennis Widemen, and Andrew Ference.  With spirits high, it's more than the possible that the Bruins will go all the way in the 2009-10 season so get your tickets today!

Coming into the NHL just before the 1924-24 season, the Bruins quickly established their formidability by winning the Stanley Cup only 4 years later in the 1928-29 season.  The Bruins have had their fair share of star players on the ice, such as Hall of Famers Phil Esposito, Ray Bourque, and Bobby Orr.  Through their long years of playing, the Bruins have won the Stanley Cup 5 times and if they can pull it off in the new season, it will be their first championship win in over 30 years.
